FIRST DAY BACK AT SCAD

It all started at 7 this morning when I realized that my phone was not plugged in all the way all night and I had less that 30% to go through the day with. Then, my first day back to college outfit, which I was trying to ghetto-steam by keeping it in the bathroom whilst I showered fell INTO the shower with me. I got soap in my eye and slipped on it. After that, someone stepped on my heel as I got off the bus, and ripped it 3/4s of the way off. It was a wedge. I sat down on a stoop to try to quick stitch it back together, right on some freshly excremented bird poo and dropped my only spool of thread down a storm drain. My phone went off during my first class and I got lost on the way to my second class where I ended up walking in just as the professor was discussing his no tolerance late policy. I spilled half a cup of coffee on my white blouse. Then I had to walk home in a flash flood, one heel broken, coffee stained and marked by a cruel pigeon. The water on the sidewalk went half way up my shins. I walked into my dorm literally dripping, tripped onto the elevator where I slammed a very attractive neighbor into the wall, and splashed water from my hair all over his papers.
And it’s only 2 o’clock
Hope you all are having a better first day than I.

ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE

DONATE HERE: http://www.alsa.org/donate/

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons  die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

DONATE HERE: http://www.alsa.org/donate/

The challenge involves people getting doused with buckets of ice water on video, posting that video to social media, then nominating others to do the same, all in an effort to raise ALS awareness.  People can either accept the challenge or make a donation to an ALS Charity of their choice, or do both.

wannabeanimator:

Walt Disney Animation Studios | 1937 - 2014

After seeing this post, I decided to make this. The “Experimental” era is usually referred to as Post-Renaissance. I imagine the Revival is going to continue through this decade. 2015 and beyond films listed are: (left to right) Zootopia, Giants, and Moana.

If you want to read more about each era and how they got their names, click here.

STOP. SCROLLING. NOWWWWWWWWW.
The eraser on top is the Paper Mate Union Eraser.
I thought it wouldn’t work much, but… It erases ink.
And NOT JUST ballpoint pen ink, India Ink too.
If you make a mistake, this eraser can erase the whole thing and leave no trace AT ALL, although you do need to erase quite vigorously.
It’s only about 1-2 dollars.

The eraser pencil on the bottom is just that. It is an eraser that you can SHARPEN like a regular pencil. The brush on top is so that you don’t smear your art when you try to push off eraser crumbs. You sweep them off with the brush.
Even if you’re not an artist, signal boost please?
It’s a very cheap way to get around life.
